Dermaplaning
Dermaplaning is a noninvasive skin care procedure that exfoliates the surface layers of the skin through the use of a scalpel to remove dead skin cells and peach fuzz. Benefits include smoother, brighter and more even-toned skin.

Benefits of Dermaplaning
By removing the top layers of dead skin cells, dermaplaning works to help with resurfacing the skin, and reducing the appearance of acne scars, fine lines, and other skin imperfections. This service is also great for skin that is feeling dry or dull, this exfoliation allows for deeper hydration and product absorption,.
As an additional benefit, dermaplaning also removes a majority of the "peach fuzz" or vellus hair on the surface of the face. While removing the hair is not the primary goal of the service, many clients greatly enjoy the results, as this causes the skin to appear smoother and allows for a more even application of serums, moisturizers, makeup, and other products on the skin.
Pre and Post Care
Before your dermaplaning appointment, remember:
Do:

Stop using retinoids and other actives such as AHAs and BHAs 5 days before your appointment

Wait 5 to 7 days after your treatment to start using retinoids, AHAs, or BHAs again

Stick to using only gentle cleansers and hydrating serums and moisturizers for 1-2 weeks following your treatment

Avoid direct sun exposure for the 14 days following your appointment, and make sure to be extra diligent about daily sunscreen use during this time
Don't:

Use retinoids, AHAs, or BHA until 5 to 7 days after your treatment

Wear makeup for 24-48 hours after your appointment, if possible

Touch, scratch, or pick at your face after your treatment (your pores are very open and you don't want to introduce bacteria)

Don’t exercise or engage in other rigorous activity in the 24 hours following your treatment (This is to minimize sensitivity, redness, and the potential for outbreaks)

Cancellation Policy
Each client's appointment is of the utmost importance to us. We want to give your service the time and attention it deserves.
As a result, we respectfully request at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or make changes to your appointment. Failing to give 24 hours' notice will result in a 50% charge. Any no-shows will be charged 100% of the service amount.
72 hours' notice is required for rescheduling or cancelling packages, including group bookings and reservations with multiple services.
A credit card must be on file when booking in order to reserve all appointments. This will not be charged before the service is completed, except for in the case of a last minute cancellation or rescheduling, or a no show. In the case of repeated last minute cancellations, prepayment or a deposit may be required to book future appointments.
Additionally, please keep in mind that our services are often booked back to back. If you think you are going to be more than 5 minutes late, please call us so we can make adjustments to the schedule or reschedule your appointment.
If you need to cancel because of a personal or medical emergency, please contact us as soon as possible, and we can decide how best to proceed.
